A quiet ritual for the year ahead. The ANJANEYA 2027 Heritage Calendar pairs observation-based Panchang alignment with minimalist Devanagari typography, printed on tactile, archival cover stock.

Rooted in Tradition, Designed for the Modern Altar

The ANJANEYA 2027 Calendar Cards reimagines traditional Indian timekeeping as a quiet, tactile presence. Each month is presented as an independent 10×8″ fine art card, designed to be rotated consciously on your home altar, desk, or shelf.

Each monthly card is calibrated to North American Eastern sunrise and horizon times. Lunar phases—including New Moons, Full Moons, and eclipses—are marked with minimal symbols, with major festivals integrated cleanly alongside Gregorian dates.

Small-Batch Local Presswork
Designed and individually pressed in downtown Toronto. Printed on historic, uncoated archival stock, each set is inspected and collated by hand in our studio. Produced in small batches for 2027 to preserve print fidelity and care.

Specifications & Craft

What’s Included

12 Archival Art Cards (January–December 2027)

Frame/Easel Stand is not included.

Archival Paper & Printing

120# Mohawk Superfine Eggshell Cover (~325 GSM), celebrated as the benchmark in fine art and archival bookmaking. Thoughtfully designed and produced in Downtown Toronto, each card is printed via high-fidelity HP Indigo liquid ink presswork to preserve razor-sharp Devanagari typography and rich contrast. Archival, acid-free, and chosen for its substantial hand-feel and quiet, tactile finish.

Note on Natural Variations:

Because Mohawk Superfine is an uncoated, textured fine-art paper, printed tones appear soft and matte rather than glossy or screen-vibrant. Subtle natural shifts in paper tone ensure each set is unique.

Calibrated for North American Eastern Time

Calculated using the Drik Ganita system, each date is aligned to local North American sunrise and horizon times rather than imported Indian Standard Time (IST).

  • Lunar Observances: Accurately marked New Moons (Amavasya), Full Moons (Purnima), monthly Sankashti Chaturthi, and eclipses (Grahan).
  • Key Festivals: Major observances—from Makar Sankranti to Diwali—noted alongside their Gregorian dates with quiet typography.

Displaying the Deck

Designed as an unbound desk deck, each card stands independently, allowing you to choose a display medium that complements your personal interior:

  • Hardwood Card Stands: Pairs naturally with a 6″ to 10″ slotted block in walnut, oak. A standard slot width of 3–4 mm comfortably supports the active month alongside preceding cards.
  • Tabletop Easels: A low-profile solid brass or blackened iron easel elevates the card on an altar, library shelf, or console table.
  • Archival Framing: Sized to sit inside standard desktop picture frames or glass float mounts.
  • Curated Wall Boards: Easily suspended with a brass bulldog clip or linen pinboard above your workspace.

Shipping & Returns

As an inaugural first-edition run, all pre-orders dispatch in early December from Toronto. Tracking details are emailed immediately once your package is with the carrier.
